The Seat
The Liberator’s seat is designed and manufactured by Sears Seating, the company that produces seats for Freightliner, John Deere, and Caterpillar. They are designed to be comfortable for long periods of time and on any terrain.

The Liberator’s seat is designed with optimal levels of firmness, coolness, breathability, and comfort. It’s been tested for up to 20 years of use!
You can customize every detail. The seat reclines, lifts and adjusts from front to back, and the headrest is adjustable to whatever is just right for your comfort.
Rear-View Mirrors
Adjustable rear-view mirrors are mounted to the canopy for added safety.
USB Power Port for Cell Phones & Other Devices
Keep cell phones, tablets and other battery-dependent devices fully charged with a 12V Power Port on the underside of the Solar Companion, keeping cords within reach and away from wheels.
Pacemaker-Safe
The Liberator has been tested to ensure that it does not interfere with pacemakers.
Footplate
An ultra-sturdy foot plate allows the user to stand on it without tipping The Liberator… and it’s set at the natural resting position for your feet.

Visibility
LEDs provide improved visibility at night. The front of the canopy has white lights, the sides have amber lights and the back has red lights.
The Solar Companion is Safety Yellow for your safety and visibility.
Seat Controls
Adjustable seat controls are conveniently located on the left armrest.
Head Rest
The headrest adjusts to height and articulates to three comfortable positions.
Easy-Touch Joystick
The Liberator features the Shark Joystick. Controls can be mounted on either the left or right hand side.
The Battery
The Liberator is equipped with two NF22 gel cell batteries – FAA approved for airlines. Two 55 watt-hour batteries for a combined 110 watt-hours of power.
Made in the USA
Virtually all of the Liberator is made in the USA.
Manual Battery Charger
You don’t have to wait for the sun to shine to charge your battery: The Liberator comes with a manual charger and cord!
Air-Cooled Seats
The air-cooled seat gently regulates the air temperature for all-day comfort.
Air moves through tiny holes in the waterproof FabriForm fabric to pull heat away from your body to keep you cool, dry and ulcer-free.
It’s air-cooled from knees to neck!
Air/Fan Controls
Air and fan controls are located on the left armrest. The seat gently pulls heat from the user’s body to reduce the incidence of skin ulcers.
Air-Ride Suspension
Adjust the “air-ride suspension system” to your liking with just the touch of a finger.
This state-of-the-art suspension absorbs ALL jarring and friction, giving you an ultra-smooth ride.
Collapsible Canopy
The canopy easily folds down for transporting the chair and for indoor use. Simply pull two pins and the spring-loaded hinges allow the canopy to fold behind the chair.
The solar panels remain functional when the canopy is collapsed.
